To resolve this crisis, the Chiefs are counting on two fundamental actions: first, a massive federal investment to eliminate the accumulated backlog; and second, the negotiation and implementation of a new approach through which First Nations exercise full jurisdiction over all housing matters.
For several years, the AFNQL has organized, and will continue to organize, regional meetings focused on information dissemination and the sharing of best practices in housing management.
